SMM A00 aluminium ingot price gains RMB10/t today, down 1.46% Y-o-Y; China’s low-carbon aluminium price adds RMB3/t

The Shanghai Metals Market, on November 24, marked a slight digression in aluminium prices, with the SMM A00 aluminium ingot price rising by RMB 10 per tonne to close at RMB 18,820 per tonne. The average aluminium prices have hovered between RMB 18,800 per tonne and RMB 18,840 per tonne.
If the SMM aluminium ingot price on November 24, last year, is considered, a Year-on-Year slump of RMB 280 per tonne or 1.46 per cent from RMB 19,100 per tonne can be recorded.
Also, on a Month-on-Month scale, the SMM aluminium price has dropped by RMB 90 per tonne or 0.47 per cent from RMB 18,910 per tonne on October 24 to RMB 18,820 per tonne today. When the aluminium price on November 17, last week, is taken into account, one can find a Week-on-Week escalation of RMB 10 per tonne or 0.05 per cent.
China’s central provinces have witnessed stagnancy and upward strokes both at the same time. The aluminium price in Tianjin heightened the most by RMB 80 per tonne, arriving at RMB 18,920 per tonne. Linyi, too, registered the same price as Tianjin but with an addition of RMB 10 per tonne only. In Gongyi, the aluminium price soared by RMB 40 per tonne to close at RMB 18,840 per tonne, followed by no movement in Chongqing, with the price registering a similar rate. The aluminium prices in Foshan and Shenyang have secured RMB 10 per tonne each, officially closing at RMB 18.910 per tonne and RMB 18,850 per tonne, respectively. Wuxi and Hangzhou showed no measurable change today, with the aluminium prices closing at RMB 18,810 per tonne each.
The price of low-carbon aluminium in China has gained RMB 3 per tonne to officially close at RMB 19,659 per tonne.
China’s aluminium powder price has refrained from any alteration.
